Taylor is a graduate of Princeton University and played for ten years in the NBA & ABA. After retiring from basketball, Taylor launched a successful business career and then served as a teacher and administrator for ten years at the prestigious Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. Taylor then became the founding principal of View Park Prep (charter school) where he successfully built a school culture that prized character and academic excellence. In the school’s first year, it tied for the highest middle school math scores in all of Los Angeles. Brian is committed to the Great Hearts model of liberal arts education and the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness.
